Hampshire Paths Partnership: Healthy Walks around the New Forest - South East

Last updated 02 August 2008

Our walks

Hampshire Paths Partnership, has been setting up short circular health walks in the parishes of Fawley, Hythe & Dibden, Marchwood and Ringwood through partnership with New Forest District Council, Hampshire County Council, and the New Forest Primary Care Trust.

The walks start in towns and villages and are no more than 2 - 3 kilometres long. Some follow woodland paths, and others are on pavements and quiet roads.

The walks are mapped out in leaflets which include information on the length of the walk, points of interest, safety advice and health tips, including the number of calories burnt.

The Healthy Walks leaflets are available free from local doctors' surgeries, libraries, recreation centres, community centres and council offices. They can also be down loaded and printed from www.hants.gov.uk/countryside/hpp/healthwalks
