Tameside - Haughton Green Health Walking Group - North West

Last updated 08 February 2010

Our walks

Haughton Green is part of Denton, in Tameside, Greater Manchester. This is a densely-populated urban area and boundaries aren't important so anybody is welcome.

All walks start at the Health Centre, Tatton Road, usually at 9.45 every Thursday, or join en-route. We often use public transport to try new walks. Fee £2 per walk plus transport costs (free for those 60 or over).

Walks are lead by qualified Walk Leaders. Walks are planned so that small groups can leave when they have had enough and return home (with full directions) leaving others to stretch themselves a bit further. Current programme available at Health Centre & local library.
