Newcastle: WonderWALKS - North East

Last updated 13 March 2009

Our walks

The WonderWALKS are short, led health walks that occur every Monday afternoon. We are a group of 20 older people who love walking.

We walk at locations in and around Newcastle and the walks last no longer than 1 hour.

There are now 5 walk leaders in the group and we all enjoy helping out to lead the walks.

Because there are a variety of people in the group we can cater for all levels of ability, from beginners to more experienced walkers. So all new members are very welcome. We also operate a buddy system, so if a new member wishes to join but does not want to be on their own, one of the group will pair up to provide some company,

Any new members should contact Debbie to find out more.
