Accredited SchemeBlyth Valley Walkers - North East

Last updated 10 December 2009

Our walks

There are now walks in EIGHT different venues. All walks are on pre-planned local routes, meet EVERY week regardless of weather. Every SIXTH week is an away-day and we bus to somewhere in rural Northumberland or Durham.
The whole scheme is very successful and numbers are growing constantly.

Local walks from:-

Concordia Leisure Centre, Cramlington on Mondays: 10 am.

Brockwell Centre, Cramlington on Tuesdays: 10am.

Isabella Community Centre, Blyth on Tuesdays 10.15 am

Seaton Delaval Community Centre on Wednesdays 10.00am

Blyth Sports Centre, Bolam Park on Thursdays: 10am.

Newsham/ New Delaval (the Pavilion) on Thursdays 1:30pm

Seaton Sluice Comm Centre on Fridays 10am

Blake Arms, Seghill on Fridays: 10 am.

Each venue offers local walks of varying distances every week, plus once a month, away day trips are organised to more scenic surroundings. All local walks are FREE: a small charge is made for bus trips.

Self led walk leaflets are available form Alan George, Walks Officer.
