Hackney Diabetes Centre Walk - London

Date of 1st meeting: Monday 7 September 2009

Time: 10am — 11am

Venue: Hackney Diabetes Centre 

Our Walking Group will meet every Monday for 1 hour.  We will: · measure blood glucose levels before and after walking, · walk at a gentle pace to start with, increasing the pace as we build up stamina,· provide refreshments on the return from each walk.

Our walks

We are starting our walk from 7 september 2009 on a weekly basis.

it is  suitable for anyone who is interested in walking for any health  benefits, but we will mainly target people with diabetes to lose weight and lower their blood glucose levels, Blood pressure and cholesterol.
